A short film uploaded by the famous musician DJ Snake showcases his latest track,
"Patience (Sabali)" features a young Senegalese man hesitant to leave his country. A sort of music video in support of the SOS Méditerranée association, intended to give a face to the victims of exile.
DJ Snake, one of the most listened to artists in the world, shared his new single Patience on Thursday, May 5th. The musician, a leading figure in electronic music, accompanied this single with an eleven-minute short film. Directed by Valentin Giod in support of the SOS Méditerranée association, this film tells the story of the exodus of a young Senegalese man named Moudou, played by Alassane Diong accompanied by Omar Sy who plays his father. The young man is faced with a choice: stay and live with his lover or leave for abroad in search of another life.
